Is weed legal here?

You bet it is! In Colorado, at least. Colorado was actually the first of two states to legalize recreational cannabis back in 2012, along with Washington. This is thanks to a measure known as Amendment 64, which passed with 1.4 million ‘yes’ votes at a margin of 55%. Thanks to its passing, adults over the age of 21 can now have one ounce of cannabis in their possession, and can cultivate up to 6 plants in their home. In addition, Governor Polis recently signed a bill that will allow for cannabis deliveries to consumers’ homes. This service will officially commence in January 2021.

However, due to the mixed and confusing nature of cannabis laws in the United States, there’s a lot of uncertainty regarding individuals’ rights, especially with delivery across state lines. How does marijuana work?

Like any prescription drug, cannabis is able to work its magic due to ‘active ingredients’.
