So is weed legal for me?

Well not yet, but the support is certainly there. Reportedly, 65% of Connecticut residents support the legalization movement, and there has been a huge effort to get legalization on the 2020 ballot. Most notably, Bill No. 16 was introduced this past February, which would effectively end marijuana prohibition in the state. It even managed to garner a lot of support from legislators, however it has essentially stalled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Legislative sessions have been cancelled since March and have yet to resume as of August.

One positive however, is the recent expansion of medical marijuana qualifying conditions, which now includes chronic pain. It has been a point of contention that this was never included in the first place, but thankfully this has been resolved. In addition to everything else, we do feel it is worth noting that there are currently no laws preventing the sale or shipment of pot seeds in the US even over state lines. So if you were concerned about putting yourself in legal jeopardy by ordering cannabis seeds, you can put that worry to rest.

So what’s the deal with medical marijuana?

Medical marijuana has been shown to be hugely effective in treating a large variety of ailments and conditions, such as depression, anxiety, insomnia, severe pain, and even conditions like Fibromyalgia, to name a few.
