Does Connecticut have legal weed now?
Unfortunately, not yet, but there have been substantial efforts to get legalization on the 2020 ballot throughout the last year. Notably, 65% of Connecticut residents favor legalizing recreational cannabis, so it seems like a no-brainer, but getting actual legislation approved has proven tricky. The most recent and perhaps thorough effort has been that of Governor’s Bill No. 16, which was introduced early this year by Senate President Pro Tem Martin Looney (D) and House Speaker Joe Aresimowicz (D), which garnered support from legislators all over the state. Unfortunately, that has been severely stalled thanks to the outbreak of the Novel Coronavirus, which has caused legislative sessions to be indefinitely postponed.
Some good news however, has been the recent expansion of the state’s medical marijuana program, which now lists ‘severe pain’ under the program qualifying conditions. This has been infamously excluded ever since the program was established, but it’s good to see that this has since been corrected. In addition, we feel it’s worth pointing out that there are no laws preventing the sale or shipment of pot seeds over state lines, even into other legal states. So if you were considering placing an order but had concerns over the legality, maybe this will give you some peace of mind.

How can I find some good medical marijuana?
Medical cannabis strains are known for having a high level of cannabidiol (CBD) and lower levels of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) compared to that of recreational marijuana. When browsing our website, you can inspect any strain’s cannabinoid content under the ‘Strain Data’ heading on the product page.
