Is weed legal for me?

If you live in Indiana, cannabis is unfortunately still considered a controlled substance. In fact, simple possession will likely result in jail time. We know it’s not a great thing to hear, but it’s worth knowing that Indiana is one of the harshest states with regards to cannabis legality. There is a medical program, but it’s regrettably quite barebones. Under the program, very few specific conditions qualify for medical cannabis, and even then, patients are only allowed CBD concentrates that have to contain less than 0.3% THC. It’s frankly not enough to meet many people’s needs and we wish the government would come around given surrounding states’ recent progress, but at the very least, it’s a start.

However, despite cannabis being illegal at the state level and even at the federal level, we feel it’s worth pointing out that there are currently no laws that prevent the sale or shipment of pot seeds in the US. In other words, buying seeds is completely legal in the US, and they can even be shipped over state lines. So if you were considering placing an order but had some concerns over potential legal repercussions, maybe this information will provide you a little relief.

How does medical marijuana work?

Medical cannabis shares a ton of similarities with strains that are considered to be recreational, but the two differ in some key areas. The cannabinoid tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) that gets users ‘high’ can usually be found in both, though generally in much smaller quantities with medical cannabis. Instead, medical cannabis relies on the effects of cannabidiol (CBD), which has been shown to provide patients a host of healing properties and medicinal benefits.
