So is weed legal yet?

It is now! Back in November of 2016, Massachusetts put to a vote the monumental Question 4, which would end prohibition of cannabis in the state once and for all. It passed with a razor-thin margin of 54%, and it became law the following month. Two years later, in November of 2018, legal sales of cannabis were finally allowed to commence within the state, and it’s safe to say they’ve been doing quite well. Almost two years in, and more than sixty licensed dispensaries are open, which themselves have generated close to $790 million in revenue. This has netted the state $150 million in tax revenue. This is money that can be used for the greater good in all sorts of ways. Such as implementing social programs and updating the state’s aging infrastructure, among other things.

However, cannabis unfortunately still remains illegal at the federal level, which has created a lot of confusion regarding the new laws. One such confusion is over whether or not it’s illegal to buy pot seeds from another state and have them shipped to you.
