Is weed legal yet?

Bad news here: marijuana is not yet legal in the state of New York. The good news: there have been a few recent developments that seem to indicate a legalization movement in the near future. One of these is the state’s establishment of a medical marijuana program, which has often been an important precedent for other legalization movements. More surprising however is Governor Cuomo’s recent signing of a bill that further decriminalized marijuana. This bill removed fines and punishment for low-level marijuana infractions, and also added automatic expungement for past convictions. This one feels huge; preventing unnecessary prison sentences and oppression by the legal system is one of the primary objectives in legalizing marijuana. On top of all of this, Cuomo has also added marijuana legalization to his budget proposal for 2020. This proposal will need approval by state legislators before moving any further, but it still great to know the highest-ranking government official in the state has legalization as a priority.

What’s the difference between medical and recreational marijuana?

Both medical marijuana and recreational marijuana are quite similar, but over generations of agricultural engineering, they now differ in some key areas that make a world of difference.

Recreational marijuana is known for getting it’s users ‘high’, which is a result of the cannabinoid tetrahydrocannabinol. When ingested this cannabinoid produces psychoactive stimulation, which is what most recreational users are probably looking for.

Medical marijuana also contains THC, but generally in much smaller amounts that do not cause significant psychoactive stimulation. Instead, medical marijuana utilizes cannabidiol (CBD), cannabinol (CBN) and cannabigerol (CBG). Together, these cannabinoids have shown promise in aiding anxiety and glaucoma.

Above are some of our popular medical marijuana strains, and more like these can be found in our store. Truly, now is the perfect time to buy marijuana seeds in Auburn.

Thanks to you guys, I’m able to live my life comfortably again. True I did all the work growin’ em, but I couldn’t have done it without your pot seeds!
