To follow this method, simply fill a glass with pure, room temperature water. Add up to five seeds, then put the glass in a warm, dark place for up to 18 hours. After the soaking time is up, pour out the seeds onto a plate covered with a wet, folded paper towel. The towel should be folded over the seeds, but not pressed down on them. Place the plate in a dark place, moistening the paper towel periodically over the next few days. Your seeds should begin to sprout during this period of time. When the roots have reached between ¼-¾ of an inch they are ready to be planted. Phew. And it’s that easy!
