Not sure why they call it the $100 OG. It’s pretty powerful stuff, and it hits pretty hard. I usually only smoke it at night, cause otherwise, I get really tired and groggy. Something about smoking when the sun is down makes a huge difference. The mind is just in a very different place and the body just wants a nice buzz to relax. Fairly easy to grow, not a huge producer and the smoke was just Ok. Perhaps I harvested it a bit early. What I do like about this strain is the start of flowering date. I live in Sault Ste Marie Ontario. I grew 6 different strains outside and this strain started to flower 2 full weeks a head of all the other strains. It showed signs of flower development at the end of July, all other strains started in the middle of August. For me this is a huge plus because you just never know when you will get frost. The other Strains (AC/DC, Gorilla Glue, White Widow, Daybreak, Purple Haze) all of these started to flower the middle of Aug. If anyone knows of a strain that starts to flower early in the season like $100 OG please let me know

I know I know that everyone loves hundred OG but to me it’s kind of meh. It relaxes you, sure, but the taste was like a cough drop. Also there was challenges involved in growing (mine got some mold, ew!) and it was real finicky about the fertilizer. I liked buying from Pacific Seeds however: it was a standup company that’s well respected. Good customer service, too. I’ll order other seeds from them next time, they have such a huge online inventory that it shouldn’t be a problem finding another mj to grow.

This herb definitely has a reputation, have been smoking it from the dispensary for years, but it’s a bit expensive to buy pre-rolls all the time, so decided to try growing my own and very glad I did! This was a very good buy. It’s not a McDonald’s type, lowest-common-denominator weed. Takes a little extra time and care to cultivate, and the high is probably not for beginners either. At around 25% THC, this OG will knock you on your A-S-S if you toke too much.
My 3 brothers and I are all serious smokers and when I brought this to our Christmas get-together they all wanted some. Wishing the yield were a little higher. But as I said, it takes very little to get you baked.

Very lovely, balanced weed. Excellent middle of the road regarding indica and sativa with 20% THC – this is the best smoke for any time of the day. It has a very piney aroma as well. Required a little bit of careful trimming to induce growth for a modest yield but it was worth the little bit of effort. I grew it indoors and had temperature and humidity dialed in nicely so I didn’t experience any issues to speak of. Standard flowering time as well, a little over two months.
