Growing Tips for Copper Kush
Copper Kush is popular among first-time growers because of how easy it is to cultivate. Copper Kush marijuana plants will thrive indoors and outdoors, but have an easier time growing indoors because of the ability to completely control the climate. If you choose to grow indoors, you will have to replicate a steady environment similar to the climate of the Mediterranean. Copper Kush cannabis seeds grow into plants with cone-shaped buds that are bright green and coated in a layer of trichomes. If you choose to grow outdoors, you will need to hope for consistent temperature and humidity to grow these plants to completion. Doing so will ensure that you grow healthy buds from the top of the plants to the buds closest to the soil. Having access to a greenhouse is the best way to give these plants the perfect outdoor climate without having to put up with unexpected outdoor variables. These plants grow to a medium height and can reach around 3-4 feet. Because the plants reach a maximum indoor and outdoor height of 4 feet, you can grow these plants in several different smaller grow areas successfully. The ideal temperature for these plants is around 65-85 degrees Fahrenheit and slightly cooler at night. Humidity levels should be kept around 30-70% during the vegetative growth stage and the flowering stage, but lowering the humidity every week will help this plant grow. Growing indoors will ensure that the moderate humidity levels and moderate temperatures are constant and maintained every day that the plants are in the growing stages. Topping and Low-stress training (LST) methods will benefit the growth of this strain. These methods help light and air reach the lower levels of the plant, creating an even grow. The Copper Kush strain requires an 18-20 hour light cycle to reach the vegetative stage of growth. Changing the light cycle to a 12/12 cycle will help to induce the flowering stage of growth.
Yields, Flowering Time, and Harvest
- Flowering Time: Growing indoors, you can expect the Copper Kush strain to harvest after a short flowering period of 55-65 days.
- Yields: While Indoor yields are around 250 grams per square meter, outdoor grows typically produce up to 450 grams per plant. Even though the yields are smaller than most, the grow and flowering period make the yields totally worth it.
- Harvest: Outdoor growers can plan on harvesting their yields around the middle of October, depending on when the seeds were planted.

Has a coppery color actually, the plant is nice and green with streaks of copper…looks like it was dipped in copper LOL.

Copper kush has quite a strong THC percentage, I find it not great for lighter smokers but I do enjoy it myself. Has a nice body high to get you ready for bed, an end-of-the-night smoke for sure. Growing this was easy enough and it yielded a solid amount of weed quite easily.
Fresh copper kush is unlike anything else in the world. This weed has a light metallic taste and a supremely skunky smell. Burning through my stash like crazy! But the yields were pretty solid, nice and fresh nugs by the bounty! So much more affordable than the dispensary stuff, and honestly much higher quality too.
