In terms of outdoor cultivation, while it will enter its flowering time faster in a warmer environment, ACDC can actually handle somewhat colder settings. However, due to its being a relatively high-maintenance strain to cultivate, many choose to be indoor growers of ACDC as it’s easier to ensure and maintain the optimal conditions so that they end up with healthy and robust plants.
What do ACDC cannabis plants look like?
Given the proper care, ACDC develops into bushy plants that are about 4 feet tall. Its nuggets, which are a mix of sativa and indica structural traits in that they are both tightly packed together and fluffy at the same time, are usually quite hefty in size.
Finally, in terms of coloration, ACDC’s mint-green buds are interlaced with wispy orange hairs and enwrapped in miniature glimmering golden amber trichomes. Some versions of this 50/50 sativa-indica phenotype will also have purplish leaves as well.
When to harvest your ACDC cannabis plant
When cultivated inside, ACDC is usually ready to flower in 9-10 weeks and tends to produce an above-average yield of approximately 400 grams per square meter–thereby making all your hard work worthwhile.
Tended to outdoors, this CBD-rich hybrid should produce a relatively abundant yield of around 400 grams per plant sometime in the mid-October stretch.

One of my favorite bands and now one of my favorite weeds too. Got my seeds delivered from pacific and had them germinate in my little prop house out in the back, which is pretty exciting. This stuff is super easy to grow and it’s a perfect hybrid between indica/sativa so you’ll feel great no matter when you smoke it. I had to stop everything I was doing and come on here to write a review about this amazing strain.
I got impatient to try a little bit, so I picked a somewhat immature bud off the low portion of the plant. I dehydrated it overnight in a food dehydrator (this is not the greatest method of drying). I didn’t trim all the leaves off so about 50% was the tiny leaves with the trichomes on them.
Anyway, after drying it out I took a couple of hits (rolled). And I feel amazing. I can really focus and my memory has not decreased. I have energy but I am also relaxed, like my body is a bit heavier than normal. But I feel like being productive. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It’s totally worth the effort.

Actually a lot of fun to grow this strain, but yes it’s a bit of a longer growing time, with a flowering stage somewhere between 3.5 and 4 months, but the yield is solid and the CBD content makes this great if you suffer from aches and pains and headaches like myself. I have epilepsy, and ACDC is my hands-down favorite. It’s got really high CBD and super low THC, so it treats my disorder without getting me super baked. I also suffer a bit of social anxiety, and I found this strain to be good for that too. I grew this inside, but the light needed adjusting to get them to flower — which is why I only gave this four stars. If you don’t have experience growing pot inside, you might find this one kinda hard. But it’s definitely 5 stars for treating my epilepsy!
