Growing Tips for Flo OG
Flo OG is an easy-to-grow cannabis cultivar that is ideal for folks with minimal growing experience. Flo OG marijuana plants will thrive indoors and outdoors, but have an easier time growing indoors because of the ability to completely control the climate. If you choose to grow indoors, you will have to replicate a steady environment similar to the climate of the Mediterranean. Flo OG cannabis seeds grow into plants with smaller, resin-coated buds and yellow pistils.
If you choose to grow outdoors, you will need to hope for consistent temperature and humidity to grow these plants to completion. Doing so will ensure that you grow healthy buds from the top of the plants to the buds closest to the soil. Having access to a greenhouse is the best way to give these plants the perfect outdoor climate without having to put up with unexpected outdoor variables. These plants grow to a medium height and can reach around 5-8 feet tall. Because the plants reach a maximum indoor and outdoor height of 8 feet, the stocky plants will need ample vertical and lateral space to stretch out and grow to completion.
The ideal temperature for these plants is around 70-85 degrees Fahrenheit and slightly cooler at night. Humidity levels should be kept around 40-60% during the vegetative growth stage and the flowering stage, but lowering the humidity every week will help this plant grow. Growing indoors will ensure that the moderate humidity levels and moderate temperatures are consistent and maintained every day that the plants are in the growing stages.
Pruning, topping, and Low-stress training (LST) methods are the best training techniques for this particular strain of cannabis. If performed correctly and at the right time, these techniques will promote bud production and increase final yields. LST manipulates the plant to increase the size and density of the buds. Pruning and topping the plants will help control their height and the canopy, allowing light and air to reach the lower levels of the plant. The Flo OG strain requires an 18-20 hour light cycle to reach the vegetative growth stage. This strain needs a change in the light cycle to induce the flowering stage of growth. A 12/12 cycle is necessary to get the plant from flowering to harvest.

It’s all about that FLO! I really enjoyed growing this pot, it does well in containers, and generally does pretty well outdoors. It’s got a strong, deep emerald green color. It smells like pine sol and hits nice and slow. A true “creeper” strain, and definitely one of the best. I recommend starting out with 5 seeds, soaking your seeds, and then watching the magic unfold in your garden. Gorgeous grow!
Get your FLO back with this groovy hybrid from Pacific. This is my 3rd season growing with this crew. They have awesome, delicious, fresh seeds from Northern Cali. My grow was indoors, in a 4×4 gorilla tent with LED and reflective paneling. Airflow was my biggest issue, but once I installed a fan into the tent, the plant really flourished. Such fun!
