A high-maintenance strain, Pure Haze requires hot, sunny, and semi-humid environments to really thrive. Tropical locations will result in the highest yields for this large grow. Make sure these plants have ample space, as they tend to grow tall and bushy. Growing indoors with a hydroponic setup will produce the highest yields and will give you complete control over the environment. Because this strain is resistant to common molds, pests, and mildew, it is a solid outdoor grow. I was initially worried about being a first time grower, however, the Pure Haze seeds made it a lot easier. I was working with a small, outdoor plot and was amazed when the seeds sprouted waited a week. The plants were strong, tolerant of a few watering mistakes and changes in weather, and grew fairly nice and tall at almost 5 ft, with lots of bushy foliage and bright green, dense buds. It took about 11 weeks to flower, and the yield was decent at about 300g or so per plant. The wait was worth it because the buds had an earthy citrus flavour. My only negative experience was that this strain may be a little sensitive to overfeeding because I had to cut back on the nutrients since I noticed some burning. Would recommend for new growers, 4/5.
Cultivating Pure Haze seeds was an overall great time for this seasoned grower. The seeds germinated quickly (3 days) using the paper towel method. The plants grew vigorously under controlled indoor growing conditions replicating a 18/6 light cycle, and grew to about 4 feet tall by the time flowering started. This strain prefers warm and sunny weather; maintaining temperature around 75-80°F was especially important. After 10 weeks of flowering, I produced dense, resin-coated buds with pungent citrus-spice aroma. My yield was above average yield, approximately 450g/m² indoors. The nature of this strain stretches quickly during early flowering, but I did my best to trellis to maintain plant structure. I would rate it 4.5/5 for great genetics and quality yield!
