Description
Afghani CBD: Sweet and Fruity
Afghani CBD seeds grow into medium to tall plants with long green leaves and smaller dusty buds. The dust on the exterior of the buds is resinous trichomes that give the appearance that the plant has been coated in sugar. The trichomes can even change the look of the plant, including its color and the texture of the buds. The harvested nuggets are dark green and brown and earthy looking. Breaking them apart with your fingers will leave them sticky and skunky. The harvested nuggets produce a welcoming aroma to all cannabis fans. While Afghani CBD has not won any awards in the marijuana community, it is the parent strain to dozens of award-winning variants. Strains like Blueberry and Northern Lights came to be because of a lineage connected to Afghani strains. Being a winner by proxy isn’t that bad after all; it doesn’t take away from the popularity of this strain among CBD fans.
Growing Tips for Our Seeds
Afghani CBD grows best in very warm and humid climates. Think about the temperature, rainfall, and humidity of the Middle East, which is where this strain grows naturally. That is the climate you need to produce both indoors and outdoors when growing Afghani CBD. This strain should not be taken on by first-time growers. It is best if intermediate to master level growers try to grow this tricky strain. It is also a high-maintenance strain, so if you don’t have the patience to get to harvest, you won’t be able to grow Afghani CBD.
Dial in Your Growing Conditions
- Indoor or Outdoor: Afghani CBD marijuana can be grown indoors and outdoors by experienced growers. The desired temperature for this strain is between 70-80 degrees Fahrenheit. This strain requires 18-20 hours of light during the vegetative stage. Dialing the light cycle back to a 12/12 cycle will induce flowering and get you all the way to harvesting your plants.
- Moisture control: Humidity levels of approximately 30-50% during the vegetative phase, gradually decreasing to 30% or slightly lower during the flowering stage. Getting the humidity levels correct will ensure that your plants don’t become moldy.
- Training Techniques: This strain responds to Low-stress training (LST) techniques and topping. These methods will increase your yields come harvest time. Utilizing these techniques will help your buds grow big and strong and full of CBD.
Yields, Flowering Time, and Harvest
- Flowering Time: Growing indoors, you can expect the Afghani CBD strain to harvest after a flowering period of 55-65 days. Outdoors, it should be harvest-ready sometime near the end of October or early November.
- Yields: While Indoor yields are around 300 grams per square meter, outdoor grows typically produce up to 300 grams per plant. While these yields aren’t fantastic, they are ample enough to be rewarding. It often takes less to get someone buzzed off of a CBD strain, so these lighter yields are actually right on target, all things considered.
Dominant Terpenes in Afghani CBD: Minimum Amounts
The Afghani CBD terpene profile is directly responsible for how the plant smells and tastes and the strong effects it has on its users. The most dominant terpene in this strain is myrcene, while pinene and terpinolene are secondary terpenes.
- Myrcene: Most Dominant – Myrcene is one of the most prominent terpenes in the cannabis world and is known as the “Mother of all Terpenes.”
- Pinene: Secondary Terpene – Found mostly in pine needles and conifer trees. Gives off a pine-like scent and flavor.
- Terpinolene: One in Ten – Terpinolene is dominant in about one in ten cannabis strains.
Dominant Cannabinoids in Afghani CBD:
Cannabinoids play an important role in Afghani CBD seeds and are generally a huge part of most strains of cannabis. That sleepy, relaxed, and happy feeling you get when enjoying the Afghani CBD strain is due to its dominant cannabinoids. Each cannabinoid does something different to the user.
- THC: The Main Character – THC is the most dominant cannabinoid on the molecular level of most cannabis strains. The crystalline compound tetrahydrocannabinol is the main ingredient of cannabis. Topping out at 8%, the THC in this Indica-dominant strain is responsible for the relaxed and happy feeling you get when enjoying Afghani CBD cannabis.
- CBD: Very Minimal Amounts – While the CBD levels in Afghani CBD are around 10%, the cannabinoid is more than present, and the effects are highly noticeable in this strain. CBD plays a larger role in what the strain does to the user. CBD is non-psychoactive and can produce effects that help with anxiety, sleep, pain, and even stress. The CBD in the Afghani CBD strain definitely has a positive effect on the user.

Daanng who knew they made afghani CBD?? I was so stoked to find this. I bought 10 of these seeds and grew outdoors. Takes up a lotta room, and generally grows nicely in the yard if you can stake your plants. They really get pretty tall, sometimes over 6′ tall, and once you harvest you’ll be swimming in super fresh nug. Can’t complain this is one of my all-time favorites….and it’s brilliant for pain relief!

Can a marijuana be both sweet AND spicy?? I think so! Afghani CBD is perfect for those who LOVE a good flavor but don’t need the high intensity THC weeds of today. CBD is the perfect alternative to stoney MJ and helps relieve both pain and anxiety!

Nothing better than a few tokes of the afghani CBD. This weed immediately reduces your body aches and pains. The stress I get from my job can sometimes be unbearable. Ideally I am working in my garden, tryna grow my amazing weed plants, but life tends to get in the way. Either way, this stuff is looking good and producing hella nug!

This CBD strain is just great for my back pain. I work really hard outdoors every day and sometimes I just throw out my back without intending on it. When I get home I spark up a bowl of the Afghani CBD strain and I am feeling really good about everything all the sudden and my pain symptoms go waaaay down, Highly recommend this earthy delight!

A really nice strain, great for growing outdoors. High in CBD and moderate THC make this a great way to unwind. Has the same earthy spicy taste as regular afghani but you’ll notice a much more potent buzz in your body, and your mind will stay clear. Great for smoking in AM when starting the day.
