Growing Tips for Alpine Blue Seeds
Alpine Blue is a fairly difficult strain of cannabis to grow. If you don’t have any prior experience, you could have trouble getting Alpine Blue to harvest. Intermediate to master level growers shouldn’t have any issue hitting the desired yields of this strain. The strain grows well both indoors and outdoors. Alpine Blue can grow to be over 6 feet tall when grown outdoors. Indoor grows will need to be a bit more controlled, as growing too tall can burn the top buds of the plant. Providing ample lighting, maintaining a consistent temperature range of 68-82 degrees Fahrenheit, and ensuring relative humidity levels stay around 40% during flowering are critical for optimal growth. Outdoor cultivation requires a warm, semi-humid climate to produce bud-rich plants. Due to the plant’s size and structure, implementing topping and Low-stress Training (LST) methods can increase yields, as these methods promote more bud production in less space and in a shorter time frame. These methods also help to control the canopy, allowing more light and air to reach the lower levels of the plant. In the vegetative stage, you should provide 18-20 hours of light each day. To induce the flowering stage of growth, you should switch the light cycle to a 12/12 cycle.

Yields, Flowering Time, and Harvest
- Flowering Time: Growing indoors, you can expect the Alpine Blue strain to harvest after a flowering period of 55-65 days.
- Yields: While Indoor yields are around 350 grams per square meter, outdoor grows typically produce up to 350 grams per plant. It will take a little bit of work and energy to hit these yields, but if you’ve got a bit of a green thumb heading into this grow, you shouldn’t have any issues.
- Harvest: Grown outside, it should be ready to harvest from about the beginning to the middle of October.
