Growing Tips for Berry White
If you’re new to growing, with little experience under your gardening gloves and a rookie green thumb, then Berry White is an excellent choice for you to cut your teeth on. Berry White will thrive indoors using either soil or hydroponics. You can grow Berry White either indoors or outdoors and have equally successful grows in both environments. Outside, this delicious Indica/Sativa hybrid requires a tropical and sunny climate to achieve its maximum potential. Think about the Mediterranean climate, which is the perfect climate to grow this bud in. Once you harvest this strain for the first time, you won’t leave it out of your grow plans moving forward. The ideal temperature for these plants is around 70-80 degrees Fahrenheit. Humidity levels should be kept around 40-50% during the vegetative stage and maintained at 40-50% during the flowering stage of growth. Maintaining a constant, lower humidity will help keep mold and mildew off your plants and help them grow faster. Berry White responds very well to the Sea of Green method. This method will increase yields by promoting growth in the bud sites. The Sea of Green method is used to grow cannabis plants in a confined space to accelerate the vegetative stage and speed up the overall grow cycle. This technique will ultimately increase your yields come harvest time. Berry White plants require an 18-20 hour light cycle to get them started and to get them through the vegetative stage. To induce the flowering stage of growth, you will need to change the light cycle to a 12/12 cycle. You can maintain this light cycle through to your harvest.
Yields, Flowering Time, and Harvest
- Flowering Time: Growing indoors, you can expect the Berry White strain to harvest after a short flowering period of 55-65 days.
- Yields: While Indoor yields are around 400 grams per square meter, outdoor grows typically produce up to 500 grams per plant. For newer growers, these yields are great. The THC-rich buds are plentiful once this strain of cannabis is harvested.
- Harvest: Outdoor grows should be ready to harvest around the beginning of October, depending on when you planted your seeds.
Berry White: Sweet Berry Flavor
The Berry White terpene profile is directly responsible for how the plant smells and tastes, and the strong effects it has on its users. The most dominant terpene in this strain is pinene, while myrcene, limonene, and linalool are the secondary terpenes.
- Pinene: Most Dominant – Found mostly in pine needles and cannabis, this terpene gives off a pine-like aroma and flavor.
- Myrcene: Secondary Terpene – Known in the cannabis world as the “Mother of all Terpenes”, myrcene gives marijuana its earthy flavor and aroma.
- Limonene: Citrus Fruits – Limonene can be found in abundance in the rinds of citrus fruits and in cannabis plants. This terpene helps decrease anxiety and improve lung function.
- Linalool: Key Player – Linalool gives off a distinct aroma and flavor profile when found in cannabis plants. There is a lavender and floral flavor associated with this terpene.

Sup? I never like Barry White but the Berry White MJ from PSB is a different story. This weed definitely gets me in the mood to LOUNGE! I love the subtle berry flavor, the high terps that make it a buzzy high and definitely worth the effort to grow it. It takes some skill but it’s not bad. I like caring for plants, they give me peace and purpose.
I really am never going to give this up. This was my first time growing weed but definitely not my last! Loving the fresh nug, the impressive yields, and the great growing tips on the blogs.
