Growing Tips for C4
C4 is an easy strain to grow, even if you have minimal experience growing and harvesting cannabis plants. C4 marijuana plants will thrive both indoors and outdoors, but have an easier time growing indoors because of the grower’s ability to manage the climate. If you choose to grow indoors, you will have to replicate a steady environment similar to the climate of the Mediterranean. C4 seeds produce plants that are dark green with hints of purple and flashes of orange. If you are going to grow outdoors, you will need to maintain a consistent temperature and humidity to grow these plants to harvest. Doing so will ensure that you grow potent and pungent buds from the top of the plants to the bottom. Having access to a greenhouse is the best way to give these plants the perfect outdoor climate they require without having to put up with unexpected outdoor variables. These plants grow medium and can reach around 3-4 feet in height. Because the plants reach a maximum height of 4 feet, they don’t require as much headroom as other cannabis strains. The ideal temperature for these plants is around 68-95 degrees Fahrenheit and slightly cooler at night. Humidity levels should be kept at 40-80% during the vegetative growth stage and the flowering stage. Growing indoors will ensure that the moderate humidity levels and higher temperatures are constant and maintained every day that the plants are in the growing stages. Low-stress training (LST) and the Screen of Green (ScrOG) training methods are the best techniques for this strain. These methods promote an increase in yields when it comes time for you to harvest. Each method requires a little bit more work but will result in higher yields. The C4 strain requires an 18-20 hour light cycle to reach the vegetative stage of growth. Changing the light cycle to a 12/12 cycle will induce the flowering stage of growth and carry your plants all the way to harvest.
Yields, Flowering Time, and Harvest
- Flowering Time: Growing indoors, you can expect the C4 strain to harvest after a short flowering period of 55-65 days.
- Yields: While Indoor yields are around 400 grams per square meter, outdoor grows typically produce up to 500 grams per plant. Considering how easy this strain can be to grow, these yields are pretty impressive.
- Harvest: Outdoor growers can plan on harvesting their yields around the middle of October, depending on when the seeds were planted.

- Myrcene: Secondary Terpene – Known as the “Mother of all terpenes”, myrcene gives cannabis its earthy and aromatic profile.
- Limonene: Citrus – Limonene is commonly found in the rinds of citrus fruits and in cannabis plants. When found in cannabis, limonene can help with anxiety and improve lung function.

Never heard of this strain before growing it. It’s honestly fantastic…sweet, salty, sour, uplifting, and great for creative thinking. My brother does most of the growing and I just sit back and laugh LOL. I do pay for the seeds however, it is the least he could do.
This was a strain I’d never heard of before. It’s really strong, unique and powerful. Buying online is definitely the way to go…the results are FIRE, and they usually only take about 10 weeks. Best growth I’ve had from a weed plant in quite a long time. I prefer this weed to others cause of how large the yields are I am usually averaging 150-200 G per plant, and my harvests have been around 10 oz in the past. Usually grow about 5 plants at once, and I get stellar results indoors.
