What are the different varieties of Purple Kush seeds?
The purple strain comes in kush autoflower and feminized seeds. The autoflowering cannabis seeds are the quickest-growing seeds, giving you the purple kush auto you won’t want to put down. Autoflower seed germination is relatively quick, meaning you’ll have that purple kush strain in no time!
The best thing about feminized seeds is knowing exactly what you’re getting each time you plant them — potent female purple plants. Purple cannabis seeds produce some of the best purple cannabis strains like Blue Dream and White Widow.
Blue Deam is a sativa-dominant hybrid that gives balanced effects, including full-body relaxation and plenty of stimulation. Combined with a sweet taste and THC contents of 18%, this is one potent strain. White Widow is a hybrid with 60% sativa to bring big energy and euphoric effects. The earthy aromas are the perfect way to awaken the senses!
What are the characteristics of Purple Kush seeds?
The flowering time of these purple seeds is 8-10 weeks after harvest time, whether grown indoors or outdoors. The flowering stage finishes in early to mid-October for outdoor growers and produces heavy yields of up to 750 grams per plant. However, purple kush seeds are best reserved for experienced growers since they can require a bit of work.
The purple kush strain produces a versatile plant full of rich purples and beautiful purple leaves you’ll be ready to enjoy at a moment’s notice. The hardy plant is highly resistant to mold, mildew, and common pests. The purple cannabis seeds grow into a beautiful bouquet that will definitely spruce up your mood!

Plus, the aroma is just as rich and flavorful.
Regardless of the type of seeds you plant, you’ll love the beautiful purple colors, earthy scent, and delicious fruity flavor. What more can you ask for?
Should I grow Purple Kush indoors or outdoors?
Although the purple strain can be grown indoors or outdoors, it is most suitable for indoors. This way you can maintain an optimal humidity level and a proper temperature in the 60-75°F range. Since this bushy plant grows low to the ground, it produces a dense canopy with a maximum height of 3 feet.
Outside, the purple cannabis strains need an extreme level of sun but are still suitable for a range of temperatures. These purple weed seeds also do well in seasonal rain to grow into the beautiful plant it’s destined to be!

Watching Purple Kush fill out was surprisingly satisfying for such an easygoing grow. A little time in the cure softened the sharper edges of the scent while the taste became easier to appreciate.
What surprised me most was how manageable the plant remained from beginning to end. The later canopy held onto an attractive darker appearance. For a plant that asked relatively little of me, the final appearance felt especially rewarding. The plant settled into a comfortable rhythm without turning minor changes into setbacks. The finished experience felt laid back and flavorful, with the smooth finish standing out most to me.
Early in the run, Purple Kush settled in quickly and looked comfortable.
Leaves kept a rich appearance and made the plant look healthy for most of the run. A couple learning moments barely interrupted the plant’s momentum. As the flowers matured, the plant developed a richer visual personality.
Solid growth made the entire experience feel dependable.
Checking the plant became a favorite little routine because it always looked composed. Late flower brought a polished finish, while the buds looked increasingly finished.
Resin became much more noticeable near the end and gave the flowers a polished look. Noticing the buds fill out made the final stage especially rewarding. The finished cure made the aroma feel fuller without losing the earthy character.
Comparing early growth with the finished plant showed how gracefully it matured. After curing, the aroma leaned rounded and earthy, while the flavor matched the cured scent surprisingly well. That combination of low-drama care and attractive flower made the run feel genuinely rewarding. By the later flowering stage, the contrast between dark tones and frost stood out nicely.
Harvest looked better than I expected after a fairly relaxed grow.
For a casual grow, Purple Kush fit my routine extremely well. Seeing the frost build gave the grow a strong visual payoff. After curing, the aroma leaned sweet with a darker earthy base, while the flavor felt rounded and pleasantly substantial.
