Description
With a name that sounds dark and mysterious, some cannabis users might be intimidated to try this particular strain. However, despite its moniker, Blackwater is actually a laid-back strain that is indica-dominant and a cross between Mendocino Purple and San Fernando Valley OG Kush. Its THC concentration can range from anywhere between 7 to 17 percent.
Recreational cannabis users should be prepared for Blackwater’s somewhat intense body high. Though it takes some time to reach its peak, once a calming sensation takes hold, users may find it difficult to remove themselves from their seated position. Some Blackwater users have noted that they experience some psychedelic effects, but others find this strain perfect for zoning out with some good tunes or a film.
As larger amounts of Blackwater are consumed, the body high can intensify. This makes the strain ideal for those suffering from chronic pains or aches. It has also become popular with many people who are dealing with stress-related issues like depression or worries, or even PTSD.

Don’t be intimidated by the name or the growing profile, this weed is fun to work with both indoors and out. I am lucky enough to have a small greenhouse which makes weed growing so much easier, but now I am getting ambitious and setting up a hydroponic setup, absolutely brilliant and fresh. Can’t wait for the next go-around!

This weed sounds dank and mysterious and delivers! Great vibes are abound with blackwater weed. I was able to grow 5 plants (5/5 germination) and harvested about 100 – 150 G per plant. Some of the freshest weed I have ever smoked. It’s light, sticky, and the high is suuuuper intense! I love smoking it at night before I go to sleep!
