Growing Tips for Glass Slipper Auto
Glass Slipper Auto is an intermediate-level strain that takes skill to grow to harvest. Glass Slipper Auto marijuana plants will thrive indoors and outdoors, but have an easier time growing indoors because of the ability to completely control the climate. If you choose to grow indoors, you will have to replicate a steady environment similar to the climate of the Mediterranean. Glass Slipper Auto cannabis seeds grow into frosty pale green plants with dense buds and smaller leaves.
If you choose to grow outdoors, you will need to hope for consistent temperature and humidity to grow these plants to completion. Doing so will ensure that you grow healthy buds from the top of the plants to the buds closest to the soil. Having access to a greenhouse is the best way to give these plants the perfect outdoor climate without having to put up with unexpected outdoor variables. These plants grow medium to tall and can reach around 2-8 feet tall. Because the plants reach a maximum indoor and outdoor height of less than 8 feet, these plants will need ample vertical space for the buds to grow properly.
The ideal temperature for these plants is around 70-80 degrees Fahrenheit and slightly cooler at night. Humidity levels should be kept around 40-60% during the vegetative growth stage and the flowering stage, but lowering the humidity every week will help this plant grow. Growing indoors will ensure that the moderate humidity levels and moderate temperatures are consistent and maintained every day that the plants are in the growing stages.
Topping and Low-stress training (LST) methods are the best training techniques for this particular strain of cannabis. If performed correctly and at the right time, these techniques will promote bud production and increase final yields. LST manipulates the plants by tying down the branches to increase the size and density of the buds while allowing them to grow almost naturally. Topping and pruning are used to control the height of the plant and buds. The Glass Slipper Auto strain requires an 18-hour light cycle to reach the vegetative growth stage. Because of the autoflowering properties of this strain, it does not require a change in the light cycle to induce the flowering stage.
Yields, Flowering Time, and Harvest
- Flowering Time: Growing indoors, you can expect the Glass Slipper Auto strain to harvest after a short flowering period of 55-65 days.
- Yields: While Indoor yields are around 450 grams per square meter, outdoor grows typically produce up to 550 grams per plant. These plants will produce hefty yields of dense and dank buds.
- Harvest: Outdoor growers can plan on harvesting their yields around the middle of October, depending on when the seeds were planted.
Glass Slipper Auto: Sweet Citrus and Pine
The Glass Slipper Auto cannabis strain terpene profile is directly responsible for how the plant smells and tastes, and the strong effects it has on its users. The most dominant terpene in this strain is caryophyllene, while humulene and limonene are the secondary terpenes.
- Caryophyllene: Most Dominant – This is known as the spicy or peppery terpene and can be found in cloves, black pepper, and cannabis plants.
- Humulene: Secondary Terpene – Typically found in beer with a high hop content, humulene is what gives cannabis plants their earthy and musky scent.
- Limonene: Citrus Flavor – Limonene is found mostly in the rinds of citrus fruits such as lemons and oranges.

Just harvested my first crop, and I’m over the moon with the quality!

You’ll feel like cinderella entering the ball when you smoke glass slipper MJ. Tastes very sweet, with a sour bite at the end. Begins with a strong sativa high that’s great for parties, and after a few hours you will get sleepy.
Took about 10 weeks to grow, and was generally easy to care for. The growing advice on the blog sections was pretty helpful. Learned some great techniques for getting the most out of my plants.
Glass slipper is a bit of a roller coaster ride. It starts out high and buzzy, great for those craving a sativa high….then it settled into its final form of indica couch lock. A little bit of both worlds, but so fun and so worthwhile. Will buy again!!
Glass Slipper is a really nice light strain that gives a very calming upbeat head high. This strain is great if you want a high that does not make you sleepy and get some productive things done while high. Growing this was a little difficult but well worth it with these high quality buds.
Love this weed. First it makes me giggle. Then it makes me hungry, then it makes me sleepy. ZZZzzz Good time growing it and for such a low price. Woo!
