Growing Tips for Blackberry Rhino
Blackberry Rhino is an easy strain to grow, even if you have minimal growing experience. The strain is low maintenance and doesn’t take a seasoned green thumb to cultivate correctly. Blackberry Rhino marijuana plants can thrive both indoors and outdoors. Most experienced cultivators maintain that the easiest place to cultivate this evenly balanced hybrid strain is indoors because of the ability to control the environment.
If you are going to grow indoors, you will have to replicate a warm, sunny environment similar to the climate of the Mediterranean. Blackberry Rhino performs best with ample fresh air and direct sunlight, as well as high-quality, nutrient-rich soil. If you are going to grow outdoors, you will need to maintain a consistent temperature and humidity to get these plants to harvest. Having access to a greenhouse is the best way to give these plants the premium outdoor climate they require without having to put up with outdoor variables.
Because these plants grow medium to tall, they require a bit more space to grow well. The ideal temperature for these plants is around 70-80 degrees Fahrenheit and slightly cooler at night. Humidity levels should be kept at 40-60% during the vegetative stage and slowly decreased into the flowering stage of growth. Lollipopping, defoliation, and topping are the most beneficial techniques for this strain. Each of these methods requires trimming branches that aren’t producing and clipping smaller buds.
These methods will ultimately increase yields by eliminating deadweight from the plant, which encourages healthy growth. Blackberry Rhino requires an 18-20 hour light cycle to reach the vegetative stage of growth. Changing the light cycle to a 12-hour on and 12-hour off cycle will induce flowering and help get these plants to harvest.
Yields, Flowering Time, and Harvest
- Flowering Time: Growing indoors, you can expect the Blackberry Rhino strain to harvest after a flowering period of 55-65 days.
- Yields: While Indoor yields are around 450 grams per square meter, outdoor grows typically produce up to 550 grams per plant. The training techniques mentioned above will help to increase these yields, ensuring that the plant produces quality buds that are coated in resinous trichomes.
- Harvest: Outdoor growers can plan on harvesting their yields around the middle of October, depending on when the seeds were planted.
Blackberry Rhino: Well-Balanced Buds
The Blackberry Rhino terpene profile is directly responsible for how the plant smells and tastes, and the strong effects it has on its users. The most dominant terpene in this strain is Delta-3 Carene, while humulene, linalool, and limonene are the secondary terpenes.
- Delta-3 Carene: Most Dominant – Also found in pine, cedar, basil, and rosemary, this terpene is known for being sweet, earthy, citrusy, and pine-like in aroma and flavor.
- Humulene: Secondary Terpene – Earthy and pungent, the humulene terpene is most commonly found in beer with high hop content.
- Linalool: Therapeutic Benefits – Linalool is a terpene found in lavender, mint, and cannabis. When found in cannabis, it gives the plant and buds their floral flavor and aroma. Linalool is a natural sleep aid and can help with anxiety and depression.
- Limonene: Fresh Citrus – Found mostly in the rinds of citrus fruits, limonene is known for helping to decrease anxiety and can improve lung function when found in cannabis.

What a journey! Each day offered new surprises and joy.
These seeds have rekindled my love for growing! The quality is unmatched, and I can’t wait to see the end results of my hard work.
I was impressed by how quickly these seeds germinated. Within a few days, they were sprouting, and the growth rate was consistent and healthy.
Perfect for winding down after a long day, they delivered deep relaxation and a peaceful night’s sleep. For anyone looking to add a touch of luxury to their cannabis experience, this strain is a must-try.
Before I purchased, I looked over the detailed guide on PSB’s site, and it was so helpful and gave me all the info I needed as a first-time grower. It gave helpful details about germination, growing conditions, and so much. I’m about to plant my seeds soon and can’t wait to see how things turn out lol
Make way for the blackberry rhino! This purple flower has a great smell and taste, and it grows like CRAZY!! Nothing quite like smoking this pot with friends on a Friday Night! Really brightens up the mood, and gives everyone a boost of positive energy.
Even though it may be a strong indica, it makes me feel relaxed but not overly tired! Good for chill evenings at home 🙂
Definitely one of my favorite summertime growsn. Usually buy my seeds in April, grow indoors until June and plant outside once soil temps warm to 60 degrees F. Looking pretty good this season. Buds just starting to form. Very tight and fragrant, a good sign.
I’ll be buying again, just not sure when cause I am moving. Good thing they ship all over the USA!
I recently tried the Blackberry Rhino Feminized Seeds and I must say, I was blown away. Not only did the seeds germinate easily, but the customer service I received was top-notch – they were so helpful and responsive. As for the strain itself, it delivered on its promise of promoting creativity and relaxation.
This strain has me incredibly inspired throughout the day. Very light mental and body buzz of a high that just gently lingers throughout the day. If you are a lighter smoker or just want to smoke something light consider going for Blackberry Rhino.
Had a solid grow with this one. My plants had a great yield and all the seeds germinized. Did not take that long to get them going either, I recorded harvesting on my grow journal within 60 days of starting and got a solid yield. Love Pacifics seed quality and packaging.
