Growing Tips for Casey Jones
Casey Jones is known for being an easy strain to grow, even if you have limited experience cultivating your own cannabis plants. Casey Jones marijuana plants will thrive both indoors and outdoors, but have an easier time growing indoors because of the grower’s ability to manage the climate. If you choose to grow indoors, you will have to replicate a steady environment similar to the climate of the Mediterranean. Casey Jones seeds produce plants that are pale purple and covered in dusty resinous trichomes. If you are going to grow outdoors, you will need to maintain a consistent temperature and humidity to grow these plants to harvest. Doing so will ensure that you grow potent and pungent buds from the top of the plants to the bottom. Having access to a greenhouse is the best way to give these plants the perfect outdoor climate they require without having to put up with unexpected outdoor variables. These plants grow tall and can reach around 6-9 feet in height. Because the plants reach a maximum height of 9 feet, they require ample vertical space to grow to fruition. The ideal temperature for these plants is around 68-78 degrees Fahrenheit. Humidity levels should be kept around 40-60% during the vegetative growth stage and the flowering stage. Growing indoors will ensure that the moderate humidity levels and high temperatures are constant and maintained every day that the plants are in the growing stages. Low-stress training (LST) is the most commonly used training technique for this strain. This method trains your plant to produce the best and biggest buds while getting rid of the smaller, less productive buds. The Casey Jones strain requires an 18-20 hour light cycle to reach the vegetative stage of growth. Changing the light cycle to a 12/12 cycle will help to induce the flowering stage of growth.
Yields, Flowering Time, and Harvest
- Flowering Time: Growing indoors, you can expect the Casey Jones strain to harvest after a flowering period of 60-70 days.
- Yields: While Indoor yields are around 400 grams per square meter, outdoor grows typically produce up to 500 grams per plant. As easy as this plant is to grow, you should be really happy with the yields produced.
- Harvest: Outdoor growers can plan on harvesting their yields around the end of October, depending on when the seeds were planted.
Casey Jones: Fruity Pear Flavor
The Casey Jones terpene profile is directly responsible for how the plant smells and tastes, and the strong effects it has on its users. The most dominant terpene in this strain is caryophyllene, while pinene and limonene are the secondary terpenes.
- Caryophyllene: Most Dominant – Spicy and peppery terpene when found in cannabis plants.
- Pinene: Secondary Terpene – Found in pine needles, conifer trees, and cannabis, this terpene gives weed a pine-like flavor and aroma.
- Limonene: Citrus Fruits – Found in the rinds of citrus fruits, limonene can help with anxiety and improve lung function.

Casey Jones is perfect to get your day started on the right foot because it’ll make you feel like you handle anything and take on the world! Whenever I use it, I notice how focused I am and how strong my concentration is, making it the perfect daytime strain.
Apparently Casey Jones was a MJ pioneer! Well, I like to think of myself a pioneer as well, cause I own my own land and I grow my own weed! I have been watching a LOT of youtube video about growing pot. It’s been really fun and exciting, and I definitely want to have more growing back here. I am just getting my land ready for growing. It was used for other purposes for many years, but the soil is in good shape just needs some love. What better way to have a good time than growing pot way out here in the country. I’ll definitely be buying some more, just need that sweet sweet cash!
I had a great experience with this strain – all the seeds I planted sprouted and grew into healthy plants. The yield was impressive and the earthy, fruity taste was a nice bonus. The creative and focused high was perfect for getting work done while feeling happy and relaxed.
I recently tried Casey Jones Feminized Seeds and I have to say, I really liked the high it gave me. The plants grew beautifully with full germination, and the effects were amazing. It provided a rush of euphoria and motivation, making it perfect for a wake and bake session.
Buzzy vibes and a sweet flavor make this one of my all-time favorite grows. I purchased 10 seeds online and had them shipped to my apartment. I was able to set up 5 space buckets and grow weed indoors. It was a challenge! But I definietly learned a LOT. If you have a chance to grow MJ, and you wanna try Casey, just make sure you read over some blogs first, get some of that great growing advice, and you should be well on your way!
Brilliant color and flavor, easily one of the best choices I have made in a while. Grows like wild out in the yard, I love just letting the plants sprawl out and look amazing, they do sometimes topple over if I don’t stake them however. Good buy for a reasonable price. Thankful for the opportunity and for the fast shipping!
