Establish consistent conditions
Daytime temperatures of approximately 70-85 degrees Fahrenheit or approximately 21-29 degrees Celsius are ideal for Guava plants. Humidity levels should fall between 40-55% during the vegetative stage, and drop to 40-50% during the flowering phase. A reduction in moisture helps eliminate the risk of mold while encouraging a more potent terpene profile.
Recommended Training Techniques
Low-stress Training, Topping, and Screen of Green (ScrOG) training techniques are best suited for this particular strain. These techniques require the grower to trim the non-producing parts of the plant while reinforcing the heavier branches and buds with screens or nets so the weight of the buds doesn’t compromise the integrity of the entire plant.
Fine-tune nutrient levels

I was skeptical about the yield claims for an indoor grow but Guava proved me wrong. Under solid conditions with a well-dialed environment I pulled 590 grams indoors on my first run. The seeds are healthy, the genetics are strong, and the plants reward good care with outstanding results. The clear-headed and uplifting effects are exactly what I look for in a daytime strain. First time growing Guava and I am already planning my next run. The germination was fast and easy using the paper towel method with taproots appearing on day 4. The plants were vigorous throughout veg and responded really well to topping. I kept temperatures between 72 and 83 degrees and the plants thrived in that range. Flowering finished in about 58 days and the harvest came in at just under 580 grams indoors. The slow-building and clear-headed high is a perfect match for creative work or an active day. Everything about this grow exceeded my expectations.

The trimming demands of Guava are real but they are completely manageable and actually give you a great opportunity to interact with and understand your plants. Once you get into a rhythm with it the grow becomes very satisfying. Harvest came in strong and the overall quality of the flowers was top tier. Worth every bit of the extra effort.
