Description
Wizard Punch: Magical Buds
Wizard Punch seeds grow into beautiful plants that you have to see to believe. The plants are tall and thin, with bright green leaves that poke out like umbrellas halfway up the bud structure. The buds on this strain are fat, dense, and elongated. They are coated with resinous trichomes that are green with purple undertones. When harvested, clipped, and dried, the nuggets become bright green with amber hairs. Breaking open these nuggets releases that sweet aroma that will quickly fill your grow room. The Wizard Punch strain of cannabis is relatively new, so it hasn’t taken home any major awards to date. The good news is that it is a popular strain in both the recreational and medicinal cannabis communities, so it is getting a lot of traction online. While it doesn’t have an award-winning resume, it still has a great amount of feedback and should be featured at upcoming marijuana awards shows.
Growing Tips for Our Seeds
Wizard Punch can be grown both indoors and outdoors. Outdoors, the strain prefers a warm, dry climate that receives plenty of sunlight and fresh air. Think California in the summer when planning your outdoor setup. For experienced growers, this strain shouldn’t pose any problems. If you have little to no experience growing your cannabis seeds, then you are going to want to follow our tips for success to ensure you reach those lofty yields. Tread lightly, if you are able to get this strain to harvest you will be left with high THC content buds, and lots of them.
Dial in Your Growing Conditions
- Indoor or Outdoor: Wizard Punch cannabis seeds can be grown indoors and outdoors by experienced growers. The ideal temperature for these plants is between 70-85 degrees Fahrenheit. Nighttime temps should be slightly cooler. An 18-hour light cycle is required during the vegetative stage. Switching to a 12/12 light cycle will help these plants through the flowering stage.
- Moisture control: Maintain a humidity level of around 50-60% throughout the entire grow. The relative humidity level must stay consistent through all phases.
- Training Techniques: Low-stress training and topping are the best training techniques for this strain. This strain benefits from canopy adjustment, which allows for light and air to get to all levels of the plant.
Yields, Flowering Time, and Harvest
- Flowering Time: With indoor grow, you can expect the Wizard Punch strain to harvest after a flowering period of 60-70 days. Outdoors, this strain should be ready to harvest near the end of October.
- Yields: While Indoor yields are around 500 grams per square meter, outdoor grows typically produce up to 700 grams per plant. This strain serves up monster yields of super-potent bud.
Dominant Terpenes in Wizard Punch: The Perfect Potion
The Wizard Punch terpene profile is directly responsible for how the plant smells and tastes and the strong effects it has on its users. The most dominant terpene in this strain is caryophyllene, and myrcene and limonene are the secondary terpenes.
- Caryophyllene: Most Dominant – Known for its peppery and spicy aroma, this terpene is found mostly in spices and cannabis.
- Myrcene: Secondary Terpene – Known for its relaxing and sedative effects, it also helps with anxiety, pain, and stress.
- Limonene: Citrusy Sweet – Found in the rinds of citrus fruits, limonene is responsible for the strain’s fruity and sweet flavors and aromas.
Dominant Cannabinoids in Wizard Punch:
Cannabinoids play an important role in Wizard Punch seeds and are generally a huge part of most cannabis strains. That happy, relaxed, and euphoric feeling you get when enjoying the Wizard Punch strain is due to its dominant cannabinoids. Each cannabinoid does something different to the user.
- THC: The Main Character – THC is the most dominant cannabinoid on the molecular level of this strain. The crystalline compound tetrahydrocannabinol is the main ingredient of cannabis. Topping out at a massive 29%, the THC in this Indica-dominant strain is responsible for the happy and relaxed feeling you get when enjoying Wizard Punch cannabis.
- CBD: Very Minimal Amounts – While the CBD levels in Wizard Punch are around 1%, the cannabinoid is still present, and the effects are noticeable in this strain. CBD plays a smaller role in what the strain does to the user. CBD is non-psychoactive and can produce effects that help with anxiety, sleep, pain, and even stress. The CBD in the Wizard Punch strain, even in its lower amounts, definitely has a positive effect on the user.

I grew out ten Wizard Punch seeds, and I was quite pleased with the quality and consistency of the genetics. There was a small amount of variation in the expression of phenotypes, but overall, each plant did really well, grew with vigor and produced a lot of resin. I found two phenotypes, two “primary” ones at least. One was more grapey, indica leaning with a shorter stockier structure, and the other was a slightly stretchier pheno with some more citrus notes. Both were solid, finished with under ten weeks of flowering time, and delivered connoisseur quality flower. I feel this is a stable, dependable strain that I can recommend to any serious grower looking to add a different and potent strain to their garden.
When looking for a true heavyweight, Wizard Punch is a serious contender. This strain packs a punch with a THC level that’s not forgiving. The onset is quick and violent, a wave of euphoria that can be difficult for new users to handle.
Wizard Punch is a strain for connoisseurs of high quality. The terpene profile is exquisite—a complex combination of grape, citrus, and a hint of earthiness, which transfers nicely to the flavor. When well cured, the smoke is smooth and aromatic and finishes with a pleasant sweetness on the palate.
As a first time grower I wanted a strain that was forgiving yet rewarding, I got that in Wizard Punch. The seeds germinated at near perfect rates, and the plants were robust and resilient, able to weather minor ups and downs in humidity and nutrients. The flowering time indicated by the breeder was spot on and I ended up with a better than expected yield of dense trichome encrusted buds. If you are growing for the first time, look no further than Wizard Punch, it will build your confidence as a grower, and you will end up with a top shelf product.
Wizard Punch seeds were my ticket into growing as a beginner. I had a basic indoor grow setup with a LED light. My seeds sprouted after 5 days. My plants were short, which I preferred because they came in at the height of 2.5 feet which suited my closet grow. They were forgiving of my rookie mistakes of overwatering them. They were in full bloom after 8.5 weeks.
Wizard Punch seeds turned my backyard into a cannabis jungle. Every seed germinated in 4 days and by harvest time, these beasts reached 6 feet in my sunny coastal location. Love these seeds, highly recommend
As a beginner, I found Wizard Punch seeds to be a great way to go. I used a simple indoor gear and a 400W HPS light. Germination was easy, I got 90% germination rate with soil. The plants stayed relatively small – about 3 feet. They were forgiving of me being an inconsistent waterer. After 9 weeks of flowering I was able to harvest 400g/m² of resinous buds which had a creamy, berry-type smell. The only downfall was they were slightly nutrient sensitive – less is more with feeding.
Germinated Wizard Punch seeds outdoors, in the sun, while in a Mediterranean climate. The germination happened in a short time (about 5 days), and the plants grew well, very tall eventually reaching 5 feet by harvest time. They can handle minor heat spikes and dry spells with resilience. After germination, the flowering period lasted 9 weeks, and harvest time was in early October with large yields of about 650g per plant, all had frosty purple-tinted buds and nice hints of fruity and peppery scents. I had to look out for mold because of how dense the buds were but, good airflow made mold a nonissue.
