Growing Tips for Face Off OG
Face Off OG requires a master level cultivator to successfully bring this strain to harvest. Novice and intermediate growers may find this strain too difficult to grow correctly. Face Off OG marijuana plants will thrive indoors and outdoors, but have an easier time growing indoors because of the ability to completely control the climate. If you choose to grow indoors, you will have to replicate a steady environment similar to the climate of the Mediterranean. Face Off OG cannabis seeds produce plants with smaller buds and leaves. The buds have white pistils and resinous trichomes covering them. If you choose to grow outdoors, you will need to hope for consistent temperature and humidity to grow these plants to completion. Doing so will ensure that you grow healthy buds from the top of the plants to the buds closest to the soil. Having access to a greenhouse is the best way to give these plants the perfect outdoor climate without having to put up with unexpected outdoor variables. These plants grow to a medium/tall height and can reach around 4-8 feet tall. Because the plants reach a maximum indoor and outdoor height of 8 feet, these plants require a ton of vertical space to grow well. The ideal temperature for these plants is around 70-80 degrees Fahrenheit and slightly cooler at night. Humidity levels should be kept around 30-50% during the vegetative growth stage and the flowering stage, but lowering the humidity every week will help this plant grow. Growing indoors will ensure that the moderate humidity levels and moderate temperatures are consistent and maintained every day that the plants are in the growing stages. Topping and Low-stress training (LST) methods are the best training techniques for this particular strain of cannabis. If performed correctly and at the right time, these techniques will promote bud production and increase final yields. LST manipulates the plant to increase the size and density of the buds. The Face Off OG strain requires an 18-20 hour light cycle to reach the vegetative growth stage. This strain needs a change in the light cycle to induce the flowering stage of growth. If you like the movie (and I do very much) try smoking some of this mj before watching. It gets super crazy! This is my absolute favorite weed for its bright orange and green colors, searing white hairs and a dusting of crystals. The nugs form into tiny Marble-sized flower, and it only takes about 10 weeks. Definitely a summer grow, greatly prefers highly acidic soil, much like growing blueberries!

Time to get busy this summer growing some weed. I was searching this site for a good long time before I settled on Face Off. Not only am I fan of the movie, I just like the structure and build of this mj. Great for northern climates and a smooth hybrid at that. Helps with stress and anxiety, really puts me in a great mood, too! I have 15 seeds just waiting to be planted, but I always soak before planting. It is a great trick I learned on this site that improves germination and makes for some great looking weed plants!
